Joo's Sound Therapy Cabin

When Joo began expanding her work as an integrative health coach, she knew she needed more than a spare room or temporary venue; she needed a calm, dedicated space that would support her growing sound therapy business. As a mum of four, working from inside the house wasn’t practical, and travelling to different locations made it difficult to offer the kind of experience her clients deserved.

Her Cabin Master garden room became the solution, providing a peaceful, purpose-built space for sound therapy and sound bath sessions, all from the privacy of her own garden. Designed to feel calm, welcoming, and completely separate from family life, the room allows Joo to host one-to-one sessions and group sound baths in an environment that feels safe, intentional, and professional.

What started as a way to create a better work–life balance quickly evolved into the foundation of a thriving home-based sound therapy business. We caught up with Joo to learn more about how her garden room has transformed the way she works and the experience she’s able to offer her clients.

How has your sound therapy room Impacted you overall?

“The feeling that I get inside this cabin is one of serenity. It's my sanctuary"

 "Being a mum of 4, the house can feel very chaotic, and I can feel very overwhelmed quite quickly"

"We wanted to be able to open up the bi-fold doors and to really have that outdoor-indoor feel. 

I think the sounds of nature and the sounds of my instruments go hand in hand. It's just the perfect harmony.

Sometimes we get lovely bird songs that come in, and it really does add to the experience."

How did you decide on a garden room

"Once I trained and I was wanting to be up and running with my business, I knew that the typical model of a sound therapist wasn't right for me, so I knew that my workplace had to be in the home"

"I couldn't be packing up my instruments and taking it to another venue like the other practitioners do. I needed something on site so that I could manage my own health alongside running bussiness"

" I was working out of the kids' payrom doing remote sessions and i wasnt really able to offer face-to-face ... But having this space now is so amazing"
