How does your garden room space feel for working from home?

'It's just such a safe space for myself and I can forget that it's actually a work environment because it's just so comfortable and cosy. It's just everything, this space to me. I love my job. It's such a privilege to talk to clients and be with them and support them. And just coming into the cabin, getting the heating on, getting the kettle boiled and lighting the candles, it kind of eases me into, this is work now. I just love it. I love my garden room as I think you can tell!'

She visited the Nottingham show site, instantly fell in love with the craftsmanship, and worked with our expert design team to make her vision a reality. From electrics to interior design, the entire process was smooth and efficient – with the building completed in just four days.

Now, her garden cabin is more than a workspace: it’s a sanctuary for both Anita and her clients.

How did you approach the interior design of the space?

'Having been a therapist for a long time, you make do in some really quite uncomfortable rooms that are less than ideal, quite clinical settings. So I wanted really comfy chairs, soft furnishings, cushions. I did buy the bookcase especially, so I didn't want anything that would overpower the room, but that would just draw your attention to that wall. Green is seen as quite a therapeutic colour. It's a calming colour because we associate green with nature. So it kind of fitted the vibe of what I was looking for in my therapeutic space.'

How did you come to choose a Cabin Master garden room?

'So two and a half years ago, we were looking to move. We'd found a new home which had a great space for me to work, but unfortunately, ten days before moving day, it fell through. We were lucky this house was on the market, but already in my mind I wondered: "Where am I going to work?" Then, a little brochure dropped through the door and there was an advert for Cabin Master. I thought: "That looks nice." I went to visit the Nottingham show site and immediately fell in love with their products. So immediately it was just like, "That's the dream place to work!"
