Rick & Gill's Artist's Studio

With some extra space in their garden & a need for somewhere to set up their artist's studio & get creative – a Cabin Master cabin was the ideal solution. We caught up with Rick & Gill to find out a bit more about their journey with us, and of course have a peep at their wonderful 3.8m x 2.3m garden room.

Why Did You Choose Cabin Master Over Other Companies?

“A neighbour of ours had recently had a Cabin Master garden room fitted, and when we mentioned we were thinking about having something similar, we chatted to them to find out more about you. They had looked at other companies and had enquired about prices and designs, but chose Cabin Master to create their building as they were so impressed. So, because they’d had such a positive experience, that was good enough for us and we started the ball rolling & got in touch. We arranged a visit to the show site in Nottingham and met with Cliff, who was fantastic – so helpful & knowledgeable, without being pushy or ‘salesy’.”

How Did You Decide On The Design?

“We loved the look of the Cedar, as we liked the idea of our new garden room fitting in with the aesthetic of our house. The Cedar has a really contemporary, modern feel to it but still looks ‘natural’, with it being a wood effect, which is what we wanted. It’s so striking! We thought it would add a nice focal point to the garden too, so we opted for that. As we knew we were using the room as a studio for drawing & painting, we wanted to make sure that it let plenty of light in and was a bright, inspiring space to work. We decided on the sliding doors option and a wraparound window on the corner to really make the most of the front of the building. It works so well!"
