Jason & Di's Sports Bar

Jason & Di had a clear vision from the very beginning. They wanted somewhere to entertain, somewhere to cook outdoors, and somewhere that felt completely separate from the house. They needed a space that brought people together in a more sociable, intimate way. Complete with a pool table, outdoor cooking area and room to host family celebrations, Jason’s cabin has become the go-to gathering spot.

How was your Cabin Master Experience

"Dealing with Cabin Master was brilliant. Once I got an idea of the size that I needed, I think the basic size was 8m x 4m. Simon explained to me that you can go up in increments of 10mm and that's a really good selling point because you can actually have it as bespoke as you want as long as it fits your budget."

"So there are two primary things there; how big can I go, and what's my budget, and with this I had an idea in mind from a budget point of view, and Simon helped me hit that and maximise everything within that budget."

"Simon came over around 6:30 pm one evening. He was here for a good couple of hours, which showed us that Cabin Master was a company prepared go that extra mile."

Garden Room Design Service

 

"I really like the Cedar cladding because it links into the window frames of the house. So the window frames in here and the house are all linked together."

"The cedar on the front, I think, just gives it that contrast and gives it that bit more of a wow factor. I like that a lot. With Cabin Master, you can have it exactly as you want it."

"The design and the colour scheme lent themselves brilliantly to blending with the surroundings, to bring the three separate areas together, but also make it as one."

"Even the inside of the cooking area, having that wall, the lighter sage green, makes that cooking area look so much bigger because of the light wall."

"So it's been a concept in my head, I knew exactly what I wanted it to look like, and then seeing it completed, and it's exactly how I envisioned it, is quite fulfilling. And it makes it all the more worthwhile when I come and sit here on my own for 10 minutes and get some peace and quiet."

Why did you want a sports bar?

"When I was younger, you had a local. You had pool teams and darts teams. And that's what I grew up with"

"It's pretty hard to find a pub these days. That's got a pool table in because it's all tables and seats for eating in. So it's good that we can do that.

 "The house is an open-plan house. So, when we get half a dozen people in, it feels quite cold when you're trying to be sociable. But you bring half a dozen people in here, and everyone's together, and it's more sociable."

"A couple of weeks ago it was my daughter's 21st. So we went for a meal, eight of us, and we came back here. And it was great!"

"It was rocking, and I sat and thought, 'this is what it's for!' "

How was the install process?

“The whole installation was just impeccable. I couldn't believe how quick it happened."

"So the groundwork guys started on the Monday morning. They left on the Wednesday and then Josh and his team turned up on the Wednesday afternoon. And they gave me the keys about 9:45am on the Saturday morning. And it was all done."

"There was no mess, nothing, you didn't even know they'd been. It was pretty much as you see it now. "
