Steve, a landscape architect, and his family moved into a new home. However, this property was in need of a full house and garden renovation - including the creation of a new office for Steve to be able to do his architectural work from home. After visiting us at the Grand Designs show in Birmingham and learning more about what we do, he opted for Cabin Master to be the ones to help him out with creating his dream 6m x 3m garden office. “After discussing our brief with one of your Sales Execs, we were really impressed with the extensive information given to us about the spec of your garden offices. We had looked at other competitors and different styles of buildings, but they just couldn’t match up with the idea we wanted to execute. From that point, we came back home and did some more research and then went down to meet the team at the Nottingham Show Site. It was fantastic to look at the different styles of cabins and varying size and shapes of windows and even the internal cladding. It was from there we got the idea for the decking! Finally, we sat down with the designers and went through the figures, discussed the specifications, finalised everything and then ordered the garden room!”

“This particular style of garden office with the Cedar clad is modern, stylish and suited to us completely. We were very surprised actually how short a time the team took to build the cabin….the first day they arrived it was a lovely frosty day, but then the second day it rained and it was really, really difficult - having said that they coped admirably and liaised beautifully with the electrician to come and do his fix. This produced a great building in actually difficult circumstances.”

How Was The Cabin Master Experience?

“It’s a great team of guys. I was very impressed with the whole company; everything from the sales team to the guys on site. Sometimes you get let down and you have someone who is really good at sales but you’re not so happy with the product. Cabin Master is the complete opposite; we have been happy with everything, even after the construction. The attention to detail when they came back to produce the decking for us was immaculate. Nothing is a problem which is a breath of fresh air. We are extremely happy with the style of building; the Cedar clad is a really good looking structure and, at this particular juncture, so many people are looking to work from home and reduce costs. The other thing is it fits so well into the landscape!”
