When you order your new school room, we will arrange a convenient delivery and installation schedule, with an affordable quote tailored to your needs. The cost of delivery and fitting depends on the size of your building, where you live, transportation distance and how many people you need to set up your school building.
Many of the smaller buildings, 14m & 17m Arctic Cabins, are installed in 1-2 days. Larger buildings take longer but an estimated installation time can be given at the design stage.
With so many buildings to choose from your school can have the perfect extra outdoor space for so many uses, from a soundproofed music room to a quiet Arctic Cabin for reading in.
Schools usually have a purpose in mind when they contact us, whether that be to create a beautiful extra classroom or a specialist building to enable them to broaden the learning experiences of the children which attended their school. Mark who heads our design team was a Teacher for many years and understands the needs which schools have, as well as the parameters schools are often confined to.
Taking learning outdoors is provern to relax a childs mind and help them to absorb more information and also retain it. Creating fun and interesting outdoor activities can prove hard for some schools when outdoor areas are limited and also highly affected by the weather. Here at Cabin Master we work closely with all our schools to provide them with the ideal extra space they need.

In our experience, it isn't very often that you need planning permission for one of our garden buildings as the majority we fit are within the new Permitted Development guidelines. Give us a call for advice or look at the detailed guidance in the FAQ Section below. Similarly, as long as the building measures less than 30m² then building regulations will not apply.
To build our garden rooms we make use of only the best raw materials and building components, and fully qualified local contractors.
We have an extensive range of Energy Efficient, Stylish, and High Security uPVC Double Glazed windows and doors with colour matched facia boards to enhance your Garden Office or Room (click here for available colours). We also supply aluminium framed bi-fold doors which allow large areas to be opened up — bringing the outdoors indoors.
Every garden room from Cabin Master is designed to be used throughout the year, so it’s important that all our buildings are fitted with effective, environmentally friendly insulation. We use a tried and tested product from Kingspan throughout the building to ensure that even on the coldest days, your building will remain as inviting as it is in the summer months.
The interior finish on your building is important. In our square and rectangular buildings our interior walls are lined with FSC Neatmatch™ Moisture Resistant MDF interior wall board ready for decoration, while our Arctic Cabins are made from the best sustainable Arctic pine and do not need to be stained or varnished apart from the floor to ensure it is cleanable.
We have an extensive range of laminate flooring for you to choose from which includes cushion underlay and we will also supply and fit softwood timber moulding skirting.
You can discuss your exact internal requirements with one of our friendly team members on 0115 932 8888 or contact us via our form.
The air gap in the walls of the building is used to house all the electrics for your garden room. This ensures that you have total flexibility as to where you put your electric points. Included as part of our standard electric pack is a 2-way consumer unit and 2 double sockets. You have a choice of lighting systems and you can always add more sockets and external lighting as required.
All our electrics are fitted by a qualified and certified electrician at the point of installation giving you peace of mind that your investment is well protected.
Many customers use their own electrician to install lighting and power outlets in their Cabin and connect it to a suitable supply. We can work with you to ensure the building schedule allows for this. Alternatively, we can engage a professional electrician on your behalf who will install and sign off your connection to Part P.
Every component we use in our Cabin Master garden rooms is guaranteed for quality and durability. Each building comes with a 10-year workmanship and labour guarantee, plus the guarantees of each individual component or building material included. Below are some typical examples:
