Our master craftsmen only use the best sustainably produced materials
The Cabin Master range of high quality timber buildings have been developed over a number of years at our state of the art manufacturing facility in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. Our master craftsmen only use the best sustainably produced Western Red Cedar or slow grown Scandinavian Redwood, to ensure all our buildings meet our strict quality control standards.
We have an extensive range of High Performance, CE marked, Energy Efficient, Stylish, and High Security uPVC Double Glazed windows and doors with colour matched facia boards to enhance your timber building. We also supply aluminium framed bi-fold doors which allow large areas to be opened up — bringing the outdoors indoors. Doors and windows are secured by design which means they meet standards of insurers.
Every timber building from Cabin Master is designed to be used throughout the year, so it’s important that all our buildings are fitted with effective, environmentally friendly insulation. We use a tried and tested product from Kingspan throughout the building to ensure that the cabins do not need a lot of heating in Winter, but also stay cool in the Summer.
The interior finish on your timber building is important. Our interior walls are lined with FSC Neatmatch™ Moisture Resistant MDF interior wall board ready for decoration.
We have an extensive range of laminate flooring for you to choose from which includes cushion underlay and we will also supply and fit softwood timber moulding skirting.
One of the UK's premier brands of electric underfloor heating systems, the name 'Varme' comes from Scandinavia (the home of underfloor heating) and the literal translation means 'Warm'. This carbon film electric underfloor heating system has been designed specifically for timber buildings and benefits from a lifetime guarantee against cable failures.
We can supply and install click-lock flooring to your Cabin with cushion underlay as required. We will also supply and fit softwood timber moulding skirting to the perimeter.
The air gap in the walls of the building is used to house all the electrics for your garden room. This ensures that you have total flexibility as to where you put your electric points. Included as part of our standard electric pack is a 2-way consumer unit and 2 double sockets. You have a choice of lighting systems and you can always add more sockets and external lighting as required.
All our electrics are fitted by a qualified and certified electrician at the point of installation giving you peace of mind that your investment is well protected.
Many customers use their own electrician to install lighting and power outlets in their Cabin and connect it to a suitable supply. We can work with you to ensure the building schedule allows for this. Alternatively, we can engage a professional electrician on your behalf who will install and sign off your connection to Part P.
Cabin Master understands that your timber building is a large investment, and we have worked hard to ensure that it is manufactured from the highest quality materials that are either minimal or completely maintenance free.
We used sustainably sourced and tanalised FSC certified timber which you will never have to treat although if you decide to have your timber building manufactured from cedar wood, will silver quickly, however, if you want to retain the attractive colour of the cedar, you can use Osmo oil once a year to keep it looking fresh.
As part of the ordering service, you will be offered a date for the delivery and fitting of your timber building. We endeavour to meet our date commitments wherever possible, the British weather being the only thing that can get in the way.
There is no set cost for delivery and fitting, because we sell such a variety of products and are not limited to where we will travel to deliver your building. Needless to say, our costs are fair and justifiable and are based on:
As always, we encourage you to talk to us and discuss your requirements and we will give you a fair cost for putting up the building you order. Please take into account, there is no such thing as free delivery and fitting. It always costs even if advertised as free. It just means you are paying for it through the building itself. Therefore, you might think you are getting a great deal, but in fact you could be getting an inferior product compared to what you are paying for.
